GBL Gül Biology Laboratuvarı San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. was established on 31.05.1990 by Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun and Dr. Mehmet Turhan Hacıhasanoğlu as Gül Özel Sağlık ve Eğitim Hizmetleri San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Dudullu Dispensary) to provide preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic health services..

Dr. Mehmet Turhan Hacıhasanoğlu transferred his shares to Ms. Gülhan Özbudun, a retired French teacher and wife of Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun.

"Dudullu Dispensary" transformed its main field of activity and income source to "research, development, production, marketing and sales of IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostic) products".

51% of the company was registered to Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun and 49% to Ms. Gülhan Özbudun.

Mr. Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun, who was elected as the company manager in 1998, actively continued his duty as the company manager until 01.05.2011, the date of his death; he personally worked as the most effective creative person in all processes from research and development to production of every product produced by GBL Gül Biology Laboratory, from the installation of quality management systems to the writing of all relevant technical and administrative documents of each product.

Due to increasing capacity needs, customer conditions and demands, and regulatory requirements, we moved to "İMES Sanayi Sitesi C Blok 305 Sokak No: 16 Dudullu Ümraniye", where we are currently continuing our activities.

In the same year, the title of our company was changed to GBL Gül Biology Laboratuvarı San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. In addition, "R&D, production, marketing and sales of MD (Medical Device) products as well as IVD products" was added to the field of activity. Our company continues its commercial life actively in all product groups written in its current field of activity.

All necessary legal licenses, certificates and permits were obtained for our company and our products, and you can access the relevant documents from our certificates.

Mustafa Çetin Özbudun, son of Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun, was appointed as Co-Manager of the company for a period of 10 years by the decision of the Board of Shareholders.

Dr. Sait Hulusi Özbudun, co-founder of GBL Gül Biology Laboratory, passed away on 01.05.2011. We cannot thank him enough for his efforts in every product, document and license of GBL Gül Biology Laboratory. Her belief in local production and her broad vision will always guide us.

The shareholding structure of the company has changed as Ms. Gülhan Özbudun (61.50%), Ms. Arzu Özbudun (19.25%) and Mr. Mustafa Çetin Özbudun (19.25%) .

We opened our branch office at Hattat Sokak No: 10 Şerifali Umraniye, which houses the production of laboratory diagnostic products and management offices. Thus, our manufacturing facilities were divided into 2: disinfectants production in Dudullu OSB Umraniye and laboratory diagnostic products production in Şerifali Umraniye.

We updated the purpose and subject of our company in order to fully comply with the current IVDR, MDR, Biocidal Products legislation..
